Lorraine’s Superpower: Relentlessness
Q. Why do you do what you do?
A. I believe we are only beginning to scratch the surface of our potential as people, as societies, as living parts of a wider web. I’d love to see us get closer to being our best.
Q. What does Volans say to you?
A. “Volans” says “flying fish”, which evokes a creature that has the ability to breathe and thrive at a range of depths and altitudes, to soar and to dive, to be part of a group while being unique, to move swiftly and to flow with prevailing currents.
Q. When are you most fulfilled?
A. When I’m having a long conversation with a diverse handful of people who enjoy going into the interconnectedness of it all.
Q. If you could solve one global problem for everyone, what would it be?
A. Embed systems thinking – both the scholarly version and living, breathing applications of it – into all levels of public education.
