Are you Volans’ new Marketing and Communications Lead? Flexible part-time role (3-4 days per week)

The Role

We are looking for someone who can nurture and build the Volans brand and drive our communications in a fast-moving environment.

You will be responsible for the development of our marketing strategy and activities calendar as well as executing it at all levels (with the help of a PR agency, and a digital and creative design resource.)

You’ll do this by using multiple channels and engaging high-quality content. You will be responsible for a diverse range of comms and collateral including our website, social media pages, annual report, impact reports, regular newsletters, corporate/promotional videos, materials for events and other marketing collateral.

As a talented communicator you will translate the thought leadership work of the team to develop and deliver creative, innovative and effective multi-platform campaigns, that raise engagement and profile for Volans, our partners and clients across our initiatives and inquiries. This will include highlighting how our work is unique and showcasing our impact and success stories.

You’ll be confident in creating and delivering digital marketing. You’ll be a natural storyteller and have an ability to create compelling and great looking content.

Managing priorities and multiple projects effectively will be key and you will be expected to advise and report on KPIs and ROI of the different marketing initiatives.

The role is varied and interesting but also demanding, it is a crucial role for the next stage of our business, and you will report directly to the CEO.

The role will suit someone looking to work 3 to 4 days per week with flexible hours an option.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in a marketing and communications role
  • Ideally more than 3 years’ experience in an agency environment (preferably PR or digital)
  • Experience in Business-to-Business work
  • Excellent writer and communicator
  • Genuine interest in global issues and effecting change
  • Curious, creative and passionate with an ability to deliver

Location

We are based in Somerset House, London WC2 and hope to be back there in 2021.

This role will require face-to-face engagement with the leadership team but can include regular work from home.
