Charmian is actively involved in the community as a Trustee of the Future Fit Foundation, and Advisory Board member of Global Corporate Venturing and a BMW Foundation Responsible Leader. She also served as chair of the Flavelle Foundation and was a member of the board of United Way of Canada.
Charmian is often found speaking at events focused on social enterprise, innovation, impact investing, entrepreneurship and system change and has enjoyed contributing to Harvard Business Review, Fast Company and Stanford Social Innovation Review. This year Charmian was profiled in Brummell’s Magazine in their ‘Top 30 under 40’.
Charmian started her career as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). She graduated with an Honours degree in Art History from Queen’s University and holds and MBA from Harvard Business School.
