Amanda is a Volans alumna and ally, who has focused her career on shaping social innovation and investment strategy with corporates and entrepreneurs. As intern / Manager / Director at Volans between 2010-2015, she built breakthrough strategy work with multinationals and co-developed research on corporate venture capital – and its links to impact investment.
With the Bridges Impact+ team, Amanda has now moved into the investor world, delivering external advisory work to promote the growth of the sustainable and impact investment sector. She is regular speaker and writer on relevant trends (see her TEDxLSE talk here).
She brings experience in social enterprise and public health policy across North America, Europe and Asia, and started a youth-led movement in the USA that launches service projects around health, poverty and education. In addition to buzzing around on the Volans Advisory Board, she serves on the Global Corporate Venturing Advisory Board and the B Lab UK Standards Advisory Council. She is also a BMW Foundation UK Responsible Leader, a mentor for the Healthbox accelerator and a member of the Thousand Network.
