HBR: The 6 Ways Business Leaders Talk About Sustainability

The ‘framing’ work of George Lakoff has had a huge impact on my thinking about how best to present the sustainability agenda to business people – though I’m still trying to make sense of it all. Way back in the late 1960s, when studying sociology, the same was true of the work of the truly inspirational Erving Goffman.
